The ideal candidate has 5+ years of project management experience, understands the full marketing campaign lifecycle, and is comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. Utility experience is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

  • Develop and manage project plans, scope, budgets, timelines, outcomes, and deliverables using our client's PMO tools and methodologies.
  • Define project resource requirements and coordinate availability with resource managers.
  • Manage timelines, budgets, priorities, and resource allocation across multiple concurrent marketing campaigns.
  • Identify project risks, maintain risk logs, resolve issues, and escalate concerns when appropriate.
  • Proactively identify dependencies and potential bottlenecks before they impact deadlines or deliverables.
  • Develop project roadmaps that clearly identify milestones, dependencies, and requirements for successful delivery.
  • Translate business requirements into clear, actionable, and achievable project objectives.
  • Manage project change control in accordance with established policies and processes.
  • Ensure project documentation is accurate, complete, and maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct analysis to estimate, manage, and track project costs and budgets.

PMO, Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Support and promote adherence to our client's project management methodology.
  • Monitor and report on project performance, quality, delivery metrics, and overall project health.
  • Support portfolio-level quality reviews and adherence to established project processes.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the consistency and effectiveness of project delivery.
  • Drive improvements related to risk mitigation, stakeholder engagement, and project outcomes.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership, collaboration, prioritization, negotiation, and decision-making across cross-functional teams.

Marketing Project Management

  • Manage projects across the full marketing campaign lifecycle, from brief and creative development through production, launch, and measurement.
  • Coordinate cross-channel marketing campaigns involving digital, social media, email, events, PR, and other channels.
  • Support direct marketing campaigns involving targeting, business rules, and test-and-learn iterations.
  • Partner with marketing teams and stakeholders to keep multiple campaigns moving simultaneously.
  • Understand marketing terminology and workflows well enough to effectively coordinate teams and identify dependencies; hands-on execution within each marketing channel is not required.

  • Demonstrated success managing multiple complex projects or campaigns simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to work across all levels of an organization.

  • Ability to facilitate meetings and navigate difficult conversations with tact and diplomacy.
  • Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and prioritization skills.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguous environments and helping teams clarify goals, constraints, priorities, and trade-offs.
  • Experience with business process improvement and change management is desired.
  • Utility industry experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
