Job Description
Location: Riverwoods, ILDuration: 18 Months
Responsibilities:
- Develop compelling copy for demand generation and advertising campaigns.
- Craft high-impact content for digital ads, landing pages, email campaigns, and other marketing assets.
- Write newsletter articles, blog posts, and product-focused stories based on input from subject matter experts (SMEs).
- Conduct SME interviews to uncover insights and compelling storylines.
- Translate technical, product, or tax/accounting concepts into approachable, engaging content.
- Maintain and manage the content marketing editorial calendar.
- Assist in coordinating marketing materials, collateral updates, and campaign assets.
- Execute email marketing campaigns that support lifecycle, retention, and upsell initiatives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product marketing, product management, demand generation, content marketing, and customer success teams.
- Track performance metrics for select content and email campaigns.
Requirements:
- Exceptional writing skills with a strong portfolio demonstrating high impact content and storytelling ability.
- Journalistic mindset with the ability to extract insights and craft engaging narratives from SME conversations.
- Understanding of marketing concepts, customer lifecycle, and content strategy.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines with strong attention to detail.
- Clear, proactive communicator across verbal and written channels.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with basic HTML.
- Experience with marketing automation and CMS tools (Pardot and Sitecore preferred, but training available).
