Job Summary

Ensign-Bickford Aerospace & Defense Company (EBAD) is a leader in energetic system solutions offered to aerospace and defense customers for a wide array of applications. EBAD products and capabilities set the U.S. standard and are highly sought after in the international community.

EBAD is seeking a Marketing Specialist to support execution and data-informed marketing work in a growing, multi-location aerospace and defense organization. This role focuses on maintaining core materials, supporting growth initiatives, and turning market and performance information into usable inputs for leadership and Business Development.

• The Marketing Specialist supports both external-facing and internal-facing work, including materials used in customer conversations, leadership reviews, and growth initiatives. This role requires a combination of industry knowledge, creative skills, analytical abilities, and project management capabilities and requires up to 30% domestic and international travel for trade shows and site visits. The position is located in Simsbury, CT. 

Key Responsibilities

Principal duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Execute marketing initiatives and maintain core materials used across EBAD, including presentations, data sheets, and capability summaries

• Support standardized materials used in leadership, Business Development, and growth discussions, keeping content accurate and current

• Manage and organize competitive and market data so information is structured, current, and easy for teams to reference

• Track and summarize marketing performance and market information, providing clear insights and recommendations for improvement

• Support growth and M&A efforts by helping prepare and update materials used in deal reviews and integration discussions

• Partner with Business Development and Market Segment leaders to ensure materials reflect current capabilities, specifications, and positioning

• Support domestic and international trade shows in coordination with the Marketing Coordinator, focusing on messaging, content readiness, and booth design input (not logistics). Requires up to 30% domestic and international travel for trade shows and site visits

• Maintain EBAD’s website and analytics, ensuring content is current and user experience supports engagement

• Coordinate with external vendors to produce high-quality marketing materials

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field

• 3–5 years of experience in marketing, operations, or technical support roles

• Comfortable working with data, spreadsheets, and structured information

• Able to manage multiple priorities in a growing organization

• Experience in aerospace, defense, manufacturing, or regulated environments preferred

• Requires up to 30% domestic and international travel for trade shows and site visits

• Candidates must meet all requirements under BATFE and ITAR and have a valid US passport

• Proficiency in Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop and a plus would be Premiere Pro) and Microsoft Office
