Location: San Diego, CA

Onsite Flexibility: Hybrid minimum 3 days onsite per week

Job Summary

This role is a Brand Operations Marketing Specialist on the Brand Marketing Team within the Diagnostics division. The Brand Operations Marketing Specialist will be responsible for project management, production of marketing excellence deliverables, and tradeshow/conference planning for the Diagnostic Solutions division. The Brand Operations Marketing Specialist will work closely with a broad range of internal stakeholders including Product Marketing, Brand Creative, Legal, Regulatory, Corp Brand, Medical Education, Medical Affairs, and other key stakeholders within the organization, as well as liaise with agencies and vendors. This role is based in San Diego, CA, where you will be part of a dynamic organization within a fast-moving and rapidly growing area of the business. You must be extremely organized and attentive to details as well as flexible, deadline-driven with the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously and drive daily project management. Key Responsibilities

  • Support marketing teams through creative projects from start to finish (account/project management).
  • Support regular project status meetings with the marketing teams and help keep creative projects moving forward to hit required deadlines.
  • Review new creative project requests for accuracy and ensure clear direction is provided for the creative design team.
  • Track project deliverables and develop project schedules by keeping an eye toward the future and working backwards to ensure projects are started with sufficient lead time to complete before their final due dates.
  • Provide guidance to marketing teams on initiatives to help align on clear and consistent brand strategy through all channels and enforce brand guidelines.
  • Coordinate with marketing teams on required materials and graphics for tradeshows.
  • Promote and support marketing excellence.
  • Facilitate the weekly regulatory and legal peer-review process and meeting.
  • Submit final marketing materials into Oracle for final approval by legal, regulatory, and other key stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with printer vendors to execute production and delivery of marketing collateral.
  • Ensure completed creative collateral is archived, trafficked, and distributed as planned.
  • Collaborate with warehouse fulfillment account manager to ensure processes are efficient, accurate, and timely.
  • Serve as administrator on the warehouse fulfillment website and be responsible for uploading new material to the online ordering portal, reviewing items for re-stocking, managing order approvals, and maintaining and uploading users.
  • Support Brand Operations team with metrics pulling from various platforms.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Will consider associate's degree with commensurate work experience

Required Experience

  • Experience demonstrating the organizational, project management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills and abilities listed in the qualifications

Nice-to-Have Experience

  • Previous experience supporting project management and cross-functional teams
  • Experience in regulated industries (Healthcare, Diagnostics, Medical Device, or Life Sciences)
  • Marketing operations, project coordination, brand operations, or project management background with demonstrated success managing multiple projects and driving deliverables to completion in a fast-paced environment
