Marketing Specialist (Temporary Contract)
Contract | Approximately 5-Month AssignmentKonik is partnering with a global industrial and manufacturing-focused organization to add a temporary Marketing Specialist to support temporary leave within their marketing communications group. This role will support marketing automation, campaign execution, customer journey management, and CRM operations within a highly collaborative marketing team environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on marketing professional with Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience who enjoys campaign execution, marketing operations, and cross-functional collaboration. The team is seeking someone experienced enough to contribute quickly while also being adaptable, personable, and team-oriented.
Responsibilities
- Build, launch, and manage customer journeys, email campaigns, automated workflows, and audience segments within Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Support marketing automation initiatives and lead nurturing campaigns
- Coordinate and execute digital marketing, email, webinar, event, and campaign activities
- Track campaign metrics, reporting, and engagement performance while monitoring personal campaign KPIs
- Manage contact lists, segmentation, CRM updates, and marketing database hygiene
- Collaborate closely with marketing, sales, and business teams to support campaign timelines and deliverables
- Upload and manage marketing assets, communications, and campaign content within marketing systems
- Assist with trade show, webinar, and event-related communications and coordination
- Draft and edit marketing communications, promotional messaging, and campaign copy
- Support general marketing operations and administrative coordination across the team
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience within marketing operations, digital marketing, marketing automation, or campaign execution
- Extensive hands-on experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 required
- Experience creating customer journeys, audience segments, email campaigns, set up metrics and automated workflows
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Collaborative, adaptable personality with strong communication skills
- Comfortable working in a hands-on, team-oriented environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and common marketing tools

- B2B marketing environments
- CRM management and lead nurturing workflows
- Webinar or event marketing coordination
- Marketing analytics and campaign reporting
- Cross-functional collaboration with sales and business development teams
Compensation & Additional Information
- Contract role anticipated to run approximately June 2026 through October/November 2026
