Masonry & Hardscape Crew Member
Location: Raleigh, NC (projects across the Clayton-Garner-Smithfield corridor and greater Raleigh area)
Comeyer Designed Outdoor Living builds premium outdoor living spaces across the Raleigh market, including patios, retaining walls, fire features, outdoor kitchens, drainage solutions, and more. Who Fits
This role is built for someone with masonry, concrete, block, brick, paver, or hardscape experience who wants steady field work and takes pride in quality installation. If you can work with your hands, follow layout and grade, and help produce clean, professional finished work, you'll fit well here.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and assist with patios, pavers, retaining walls, steps, edging, and related masonry/hardscape features
- Support site prep, base prep, grading, drainage, cutting, setting, leveling, and finishing work
- Work with hand tools and equipment while keeping the site clean, organized, and professional for homeowners
- Help maintain quality standards, job flow, and efficient production in the field
Qualifications
- 1 or more years of masonry, concrete, hardscape, landscaping, or related construction experience preferred
- Comfortable with physically demanding outdoor work, including lifting, heat, and long days
- Reliable attendance and strong teamwork
- Ability to follow directions, work safely, and take pride in craftsmanship
- Valid driver's license preferred
Pay & Benefits
- Full-time, W-2 Employment
- Pay: $18 to $24/hr (based on experience, reliability, and skill level)
- Overtime: Paid at 1.5 times the hourly rate per applicable wage laws
- Benefits: Paid time off (PTO); additional benefits may be available based on tenure or position. Company-paid training provided.
- Growth: Opportunity to build into a higher-level installation role as the team expands
