Master Data Management Specialist-Food & Beverage

What is the job?

The F&B Master Data Management (MDM) Specialist plays a critical role in maintaining accurate, reliable master data that supports food & beverage operations across the business. This role is grounded in classic data management fundamentals-maintaining item, recipe, and vendor data, enforcing standards, improving data quality, and ensuring end‑to‑end system alignment. Sitting at the intersection of operations, finance, and technology, you'll help teams make informed decisions through well-governed, high-quality data.

You'll work closely with cross-functional partners to ensure data integrity that directly impacts inventory, cost of goods, waste reporting, and operational efficiency. If you enjoy structured data, process improvement, and collaboration in a fast-paced environment, this role offers a meaningful opportunity to influence daily operations.

Experience in B2C environments is a strong plus, as exposure to high-volume, fast-moving products gives valuable insight into how small data changes can drive significant customer and operational impact. That perspective helps bring both speed and precision to the work, making you even more effective in this role.

What will you be doing?

• You will create, maintain, and validate item, recipe, and vendor master data to ensure accuracy across ERP and POS systems
• You'll monitor data quality, investigate issues, and resolve discrepancies that affect COGS, inventory, and reporting
• You will enforce data standards and governance policies, ensuring all updates follow established workflows and approvals
• You'll partner with F&B, Finance, Procurement, and Technology teams to align data needs with business goals
• You will support system enhancements, integrations, and data-related projects while continuously improving data processes

About you

• You have experience working with structured data and strong attention to detail, especially in Excel (lookups, pivots)
• You're comfortable working across teams and communicating clearly with both technical and non-technical partners
• You bring strong analytical and problem-solving skills and enjoy digging into data issues
• You're organized, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with enterprise systems (such as SAP) or food & beverage operations is a plus
