Job Description
- Supervising and supporting daily material control operations during the shift.
- Leading and coaching warehouse associates and forklift operators to ensure safe and efficient work practices.
- Monitoring inventory accuracy and overseeing SAP transactions and reporting.
- Coordinating pick lists, shipments, and material returns to support production and customer orders.
- Scheduling and overseeing inbound and outbound deliveries while ensuring proper documentation.
- Conducting inventory audits, investigating discrepancies, and implementing corrective actions.
- Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards (OSHA, GMP, DOT, EPA).
- Serving as a key resource for SAP processes and operational best practices within the team.
- Collaborating with production, transportation, and warehouse leadership to optimize material flow.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Logistics or related field strongly preferred; in lieu of a degree, minimum of five (5) years previous experience in a warehouse environment, preferably in the personal care, pharmaceutical or food industry.
- Minimum of two (2) years of previous supervisory experience required, preferably in a warehouse environment.
- Experience operating powered industrial equipment (forklifts, turret trucks, etc.).
- SAP experience preferred; HazMat certification is a plus.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and wear required PPE.
