Your Role:
Material Handler, Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Warehouse (2nd Shift: 2 PM-10:30 PM)The Warehouse Material Handler supports daily warehouse and material flow operations by accurately receiving, storing, staging, and tracking materials to ensure uninterrupted production and shipping activities. This role is responsible for managing material flow between the warehouse and production, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring materials are readily available to meet operational, supply chain, and customer requirements. The position requires strong independent work skills, collaboration across departments, and adherence to company procedures, safety standards, and quality guidelines.Your Profile:
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular cycle counts and support physical inventory audits.
- Investigate, analyze, and reconcile inventory discrepancies between SAP and physical inventory, document root causes and corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate, real-time SAP inventory records, including material transfers, adjustments, inbound and outbound transactions.
- Evaluate and communicate inventory status, safety stock levels, and inventory gaps; generate reports and implement actions as directed to support operational targets.
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and shipping documentation; ensure proper system documentation and filing.
- Accurately store, label, package, and handle materials in designated warehouse locations to prevent damage and ensure traceability.
- Pick, stage, and prepare materials for production, shipment, internal transfers, and returns in accordance with company and customer standards.
- Process outbound shipments and returned goods while ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and documentation requirements.
- Operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks, scanners) safely and efficiently.
- Monitor and improve material and inventory flow throughout the site, identifying and addressing process gaps to enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate with purchasing, production, logistics, and management teams to resolve material issues and support On-Time-In-Full (OTIF) goals. Support supply chain objectives, continuous improvement initiatives, and inventory control best practices.
- Maintain organized inventory, filing, and documentation systems related to inventory flow and warehouse operations.
- Follow established safety procedures, housekeeping standards, and quality guidelines at all times.
- Complete additional assignments and duties as requested by management or immediate supervisor.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong knowledge, skills and experience in Inventory and Warehousing
- Ideal candidates should be proficient in using ERP systems like SAP or Oracle for inventory tracking and reconciliation, have strong attention to detail, and be able to analyze discrepancies and investigate inventory variances
- Good organization and time management skills
- Strong Excel competencies specifically running "V" & "X" lookups and "Sum-if" functions, Pivot tables (tests will be given)
- Strong attention to detail
- Must be able to follow up and follow through on a variety of tasks
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Understanding of cGMP Practices
- Understanding of FDA and Client cGMP audits
- Must be comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Required Education and Experience
- High School Diploma
- 3+ years’ experience in Supply Chain, including Inventory Controls, Warehousing and Distribution
- Pharmaceutical and or Medical Device Industry experience strongly preferred
- 2 + years’ experience managing inventory for projects
Pay Range: $25 - 29/hour + 10% Differential for 2nd Shift (2:00 PM - 10:30 PM)
