Position Summary
We are looking for a dependable Material Handler to support production by safely moving, organizing and supplying raw materials and finished products throughout the facility.
Responsibilities
- Receive, move and stage raw materials for production.
- Supply production machines with required materials.
- Move finished products to designated storage areas.
- Maintain accurate material and inventory records.
- Load and unload materials as needed.
- Operate material-handling equipment in accordance with safety procedures.
- Keep storage and production areas organized.
- Assist production employees with material requirements.
- Identify damaged materials or inventory discrepancies.
- Follow all company safety and quality procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous warehouse, manufacturing or material-handling experience preferred.
- Forklift experience is a plus.
- Ability to safely lift and move materials.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
