Material Handler

PAY: $20-$21.50

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Receive, unload, inspect, and verify incoming materials and shipments.

• Load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material-handling equipment.

• Move materials, parts, supplies, and equipment throughout the warehouse and production areas.

• Pick, stage, and distribute materials accurately according to production or customer orders.

• Store materials in designated locations and ensure items are properly labeled and organized.

• Prepare products and materials for shipment, including packaging, labeling, and loading.

• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts and physical inventory.

• Check received goods against purchase orders or packing lists and report discrepancies or damaged materials.

• Supply production areas with the necessary materials to keep operations running efficiently.

• Perform routine inspections of material-handling equipment and report safety concerns or equipment issues.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

• Follow all company safety procedures, warehouse policies, and quality standards.

• Work closely with warehouse and production teams to meet daily productivity and shipping goals.

• Perform other warehouse and material-handling duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to approximately 50 lbs.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and move throughout the facility for extended periods.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse/manufacturing environment.
