Job Description
POSITION TITLE: Material Handler PAY RATE: $20/hour TEMP TO HIRE: There is a possibility depending on the contractor's performance INTERVIEW PROCESS: Phone interview is an option but manager prefers to meet with the candidates in person SCHEDULE: Monday- Friday- 8am to 5pm Position Summary: Responsible for the inventory and distribution of tires. Responsibilities: " Load, unload, check, and tally tires and other products during receiving and shipping process to and from carriers. " May operate forklift, pallet jacks and other equipment to load and unload tires. " Maintaining inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing tire in stock; recording location of inventory. " Participates in training, follows safety procedures, job duties and company policies. " Any other duties as assigned. Qualifications: " Must be able to lift and/or move tires weighing between 30-50 lbs. with or without mechanical assistance " Repetitive and sustained exertions, forceful exertions, awkward postures, mechanical stress concentrations, vibrations. " Pre-employment drug test, physical exam and background check required. Does not need to have prior experience and no education requirements. Please ensure that the candidate is vetted properly as they need to be able to follow directions and be on time
