Material Handler / Warehouse Associate
Location: Minden, NV 89423Pay Rate: $20.79/hourDuration: 1-Year ContractSchedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PMOvertime: Available on evenings and weekends
Position Overview
We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler / Warehouse Associate to support increased production demands in a manufacturing environment. This position plays a key role in material movement, inventory management, shipping/receiving, and production support. The ideal candidate will be dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently while maintaining accuracy and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Pull parts and materials from production orders to support manufacturing operations.
- Package materials and products according to documented work instructions.
- Move raw materials and finished goods throughout the facility using carts, hand trucks, and pallet jacks.
- Load and unload trucks at the shipping and receiving dock.
- Receive incoming materials and enter transactions into SAP.
- Perform inspections of raw materials and finished goods to ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintain organized inventory and work areas.
- Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 1 year of warehouse, material handling, shipping/receiving, or manufacturing experience.
- Ability to consistently lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to accurately follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Oil & Gas, manufacturing, or industrial environments.
- Experience using SAP or similar inventory systems.
- Familiarity with shipping, receiving, inventory control, and warehouse operations.
Soft Skills
- Strong attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Dependable and accountable for assigned responsibilities.
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude.
- Focused on accuracy and safety.
Working Conditions
- Workshop-based environment.
- Regular standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
- Occasional work on the shipping dock and exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
- Long periods of standing may be required.
Safety Requirements
- Safety Boots required.
- Prescription Safety Glasses required (if applicable).
- Must follow all company safety policies and procedures.
