POSITION SUMMARY: Load material into railcars or trucks in a safe and efficient manner; and perform all other assigned tasks not specifically indicated.

RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS:

  1. Report any potential operational or safety problems to supervision.

  2. Perform all work assigned in a neat and orderly manner, strictly adhering to Company and

governmental and safety rules and regulations.

  1. Ensure proper material and weight is loaded for each shipment.

  2. Maintain accurate records for each load of product shipped.

  3. Obtain samples for quality control as required.

  4. Maintain a clean and safe work area.

  5. Must be able to perform minor maintenance tasks on load-out mobile and mechanical

equipment

  1. Assist fire deck crew as necessary.

  2. Keep rail and truck scales clean.

ATTRIBUTES:

  • Must be physically capable of accessing all plant locations.
  • Must be capable of performing the essential job duties required of this position.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate and interact with supervisors and peers. · Must be capable of working shift work, seven days a week.
  • Must be able to read, write, and perform basic mathematical computations.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to maintain a smooth and efficient flow of truck and rail traffic.
  • Must have a working telephone number and be receptive to call-outs.
  • Must be able to operate track-mobile, various front end loaders and other equipment necessary to perform job functions in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Must be able to open truck and railcar lids.
  • Must be able to work outside in severe weather conditions.

Required Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent, or demonstrated skills or ability.
