Material Handler / Forklift Operator
IMMEDIATELY HIRING
Our client is looking for several skilled forklift operators who can also work on a production line when needed.
This role has multiple shifts available:
1st Shift: $20/hour;6:30AM-3PM (4:30AM-3PM during peak season)
2nd Shift: $21/hour; 3:30PM-12AM (3:30PM-2AM during peak season)
Shift preferences will be discussed during an interview.
Job Duties:
- Safely loads, unloads, moves and stacks product using a forklift or other material handling equipment.
- Properly utilizes a warehouse management system and maintains appropriate work documents.
- Safely picks, wraps, counts, weighs, inventories or tags products and materials.
- Safely loads outbound freight; receives inbound loads.
- Properly stages material within designated areas.
- Correctly inspects material handling equipment and performs basic maintenance to ensure safe operations.
- Properly inspects trailers prior to loading or unloading freight.
- Maintains the cleanliness and order of work areas.
- 50% forklift duties 50% warehouse (cleaning, picking, bagging)
Requirements:
- 2 years sit down forklift experience.
- Ability to lift 50-60 pounds throughout the day.
