Material Handler/Yard LaborerSteel Shipping & Receiving | Heavy Labor | Outdoor Work | Full-TimeMiscellaneous Metals is seeking a dependable, hardworking Material Handler/Yard Laborer to support our shipping and receiving operations. This is a hands-on, physically demanding role working both indoors and outdoors, moving and organizing steel materials for delivery to job sites.What You’ll Do
- Load and unload trucks with steel materials using proper equipment and safe handling practices
- Pull and stage materials for delivery
- Organize yard and shop materials
- Assist with receiving and placing incoming shipments
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Able to perform physical labor (lift up to 80 lbs)
- Consistent attendance and punctuality: must reliably report to work on time for a 6:30 AM start
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Team player who follows directions and stays productive throughout the shift
- Forklift experience is a plus (training available)
- Previous warehouse, construction, or labor experience preferred
- $18–$24/hour, depending on experience
