The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing procurement, supply chain, and inventory management processes, ensuring a seamless flow of materials to meet production needs. This role will require a deep understanding of material planning, forecasting, and logistics management, coupled with an ability to negotiate with suppliers and manage pricing strategies. The Consulting Material Planner will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and high-quality standards of our food manufacturing operations.Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies, ensuring the constant availability of required materials for production.
• Manage the company's supply chain, coordinating with suppliers, and overseeing the delivery of materials in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Utilize CPM and 365 tools to manage material planning processes, ensuring accurate forecasting and efficient inventory management.
• Negotiate pricing and contracts with vendors, ensuring the best value for the company.
• Implement and maintain SQF standards throughout all procurement and supply chain processes.
• Collaborate with various departments, including production and logistics, to ensure seamless operations.
• Monitor and analyze market trends, supplier performance, and inventory levels to make informed purchasing decisions.
• Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential supply chain disruptions.
• Continually assess and improve processes, striving for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and high-quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in material planning, procurement, or a related role within the food manufacturing industry.
• Proven experience with procurement, supply chain, CPM, D365, suppliers, SQF, pricing, vendor management, material planning, inventory management, forecasting, and logistics management.
• Exceptional negotiation skills with a proven track record of successful vendor and pricing negotiations.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to make informed decisions based on data.
• Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various departments and stakeholders.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and supply chain management software.
• Knowledge of industry regulations and standards, including SQF.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
