Job Description

The Material Supply Technician is responsible for managing, coordinating, and maintaining the flow of materials, supplies, and equipment in support of base operations. This role requires expertise in inventory control, business operations, and logistics management to ensure timely, accurate, and efficient supply chain processes in a high-tempo operational environment.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular audits to ensure stock levels are precise and aligned with operational requirements.
  • Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and equipment according to established supply chain procedures.
  • Coordinate logistics operations, including shipping, receiving, and transportation of supplies.
  • Develop and implement effective inventory control procedures to prevent shortages, overstocking, and discrepancies.
  • Support business operations by analyzing supply needs, preparing reports, and recommending process improvements.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials.
  • Monitor and maintain compliance with base and Department of Defense (DoD) supply regulations and safety standards.
  • Train and mentor junior supply personnel on best practices, inventory systems, and logistics operations.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in inventory management, logistics, and business operations, preferably in a military or defense environment.
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software and inventory tracking systems.
  • Knowledge of DoD regulations, base operations, and logistics protocols preferred.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must possess a valid U.S. Driver’s License
  • Possess a valid U.S. Passport (preferred)
  • Must be able to meet all current USCENTCOM Deployment Policy Requirements, as outlined in the USCENTCOM APR 23 MOD EIGHTEEN TO USCENTCOM INDIVIDUAL AND INDIVIDUAL-UNIT DEPLOYMENT POLICY
  • Able to obtain and maintain a valid Residency Visa for Qatar
  • Must be able to work in extreme environmental conditions including dust and high temperatures.
  • Must be able to endure long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.

TRAVEL: 100%, in deployed location.

SECURITY CLEARANCE:  Must have and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.
