Job Description

The Waterfront Rescue Mission is hiring positive, highly productive, safety-minded and team-oriented associates to join our team at the Waterfront Thrift Store in Foley AL! We have a position open for a Warehouse Material Handler in our warehouse. This is a part time position working 25 hours per week receiving donations at the intake area. This position will also remove waste/recycled items and may process recyclables according to Waterfront Rescue Mission guidelines. Store hours are Monday- Saturday 9am- 6pm and closed on Sunday.

Responsibilities:

Provide excellent customer service while assisting customers and donors
Accepts donations according to Waterfront Rescue Mission (WRM) guidelines
Assist in loading/unloading Waterfront Rescue Mission trucks
Practice a team approach for maximum productivity
Ensure a clean/clutter free work environment at the end of shift
Ensure quality control of incoming donations per WRM guidelines
Follow all aspects of safety guidelines ensuring all issues are corrected or communicated to Management
