Position Overview: Materials Coordinator

Position Details:

  • Compensation: $60,000 – $70,000 annual salary

  • Location: New York, NY

  • Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

  • Logistics & Supply Chain Management: Manage all end-to-end aspects of material logistics. This includes kit preparation, inventory tracking, and campsite delivery setup, ensuring a flawless and efficient supply pipeline.

  • Program & Operational Planning: Oversee physical enrichment program preparations, manage the material assembly team, handle scheduling, coordinate supply ordering, and implement strict operational protocols.

  • Warehouse & Workspace Management: Maintain a highly organized, clean, and positive central workspace, optimizing inventory flow and layout.

  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Foster clear, proactive communication with headquarters and on-site camp leadership teams to ensure seamless daily camp operations.

  • Performance Evaluation & Optimization: Continually assess and track supply chain performance and inventory accuracy. Develop and document new methods and protocols to continuously optimize operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Quantitative Thinking: Strong ability to plan, analyze, and assess supply metrics numerically for strategic purchasing and inventory decision-making.

  • Organizational Excellence: Exceptional expertise in scheduling, procurement, and high-volume fulfillment management.

  • Hands-on Material Handling: Deep enthusiasm for practical, hands-on tasks including heavy material preparation, packing, and volume management. Candidates must be comfortable with the physical demands of active warehouse and logistical work.

  • Leadership & Accountability: Proven ability to lead small production teams, cultivate a responsible and reliable team culture, and enforce strict adherence to timeline protocols.

  • High-Agency Problem-Solving: An analytical approach to resolving process bottlenecks with a track record of developing innovative operational fixes.
