Materials Handler

A Materials Handler manages the inventory of medical supplies, equipment, and materials within a hospital or medical facility. The Materials Handler plays a crucial role in ensuring that the hospital or medical facility has the necessary supplies and equipment to provide high-quality care to patients. The team members in this role are extremely detail-oriented, organized, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment.

Schedule : Monday- Friday 7:30am- 4pm

Years of Experience: Entry LevelLanguage Skills: Proficient in English, both verbally and writtenEducation Requirements: High School Diploma/GEDExperience: Previous hospital/medical supply experience preferred

Requirements:

Be able to continuously move/walk throughout the hospital for multiple hoursAbility to lift a minimum of 50 pounds to a height of 5 feetAbility to stand for an extended period of time, stooping and bending at the waistStrong customer service backgroundStrong organization and time management skillsAbility to operate a phoneBasic computer skillsBe at least 18 years of ageBe able to pass a criminal background checkComplete the occupational health process per the hospital's standards.
