JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Materials Management Associate I supports basic materials handling, inventory control, shipping/receiving and restocking activities. This entry-level role works under close supervision and follows clearly defined procedures to ensure timely and accurate material flow in support of laboratory, production, and operational needs.
Schedule: Tuesday- Saturday 7am-3:30pm
Pay: $21/hr.- 29.65/hr.
Include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Receive, inspect, label, and store incoming materials in designated locations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with procedures.
- Operate equipment essential to job duties, including forklifts, electric jacks, cherry pickers, and other machinery specific to the site.
- Place goods in designated storage areas and restock lab supplies as needed.
- Fulfill internal material requests and deliver materials to appropriate locations.
- Support basic inventory transactions and data entry in SAP/EWM.
- Assist with packaging and preparing outbound shipments, including compliance with DOT and IATA hazardous materials regulations.
- Accurately document receipt, storage, and shipment records.
- Ensure adherence to GMP guidelines, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and safety requirements.
- Escalate inventory discrepancies, damaged goods, or other issues per escalation protocols.
- Engage in cross-training and continuous skill development.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED and 1 year of relevant experience; or associate degree in logistics, business, or related field.
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and accurate data entry skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet.
- Ability to obtain forklift certification.
- Demonstrated ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in warehouse or material handling role.
- Exposure to SAP, EWM, or other ERP systems.
- Experience in GMP or biotech environment.
The base pay for this position is
$14.85 – $29.65/hourIn specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
