Materials Management Lead

Nesco Resource is seeking a Materials Management Lead to join our client's team at their Bristol, CT location.SUMMARYOur client is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Materials Management Lead Person to join our team. Responsibility to include but are not limited to inventory management, stocking warehouse shelves, picking job kits, processing outgoing shipments, and general materials movement.RESPONSIBILITIES

• Process incoming shipments.
• Verify contents against shipping packing slip; verify correct items arrived and correct quantities received.
• Stocking and material management utilizing MRP/ERP system.
• Implement and maintain inventory management practices to optimize stock levels and minimize discrepancies.
• Material organization and movement throughout departments and buildings.
• Load and unload goods using a pallet jack or forklift.
• Pick assembly material kits.
• Prepare outgoing shipments.

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent preferred.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management practices and process improvement methodologies.
• Familiarity with order fulfillment processes and inventory management systems.
• Basic math skills for accurate counting and record keeping.
• Ability to operate a forklift. Certification is not required at the time of hire. We provide certification for employees.
• Strong attention to detail required. Excellent organizational skills and accuracy.
• Good communication skills to collaborate with team members effectively.
• Must have the ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds, reach above head height, squat, kneel, bend and reach
• Maintain clean work areas.

• 1st shift, Monday – Friday, 8am – 4:30pm core hours
• Pay range: $28 - 30/hour ($58,240 – $62,400) depending on experience
