People Source OKC is Hiring – Mazak CNC MachinistLocation: Oklahoma City, OKPay: $25.00–$30.00+/hour, depending on experienceSchedule: Morning ShiftJob Type: Full-TimePosition OverviewPeople Source OKC is hiring an experienced Mazak CNC Machinist for an Oklahoma City company specializing in cementing equipment and tools used in the oil and gas well construction industry.We are currently seeking 1 experienced candidate who can operate Mazak CNC equipment and develop into working with minimal supervision. Additional Machinist openings may become available as training progresses.Pay ranges from $25.00–$30.00/hour, with the potential to pay more for a candidate with advanced Mazak CNC machining experience.Job Responsibilities
- Set up and operate Mazak CNC machines
- Machine components according to drawings, specifications, and tolerances
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions
- Select appropriate tooling and make machine adjustments as needed
- Load materials and properly position parts for machining
- Monitor machining operations to ensure accuracy and quality
- Use precision measuring instruments to inspect completed parts
- Verify dimensions and tolerances throughout the machining process
- Identify and troubleshoot machining or tooling issues
- Perform routine machine and work-area maintenance
- Maintain accurate production and quality documentation
- Follow all company machining and shop safety procedures
- Previous CNC machining experience required
- Mazak CNC operating experience strongly preferred
- Ability to set up and operate CNC equipment with decreasing supervision as training progresses
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Understanding of machining tolerances and measurements
- Experience using precision measuring tools
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to troubleshoot basic machining issues
- Dependable attendance and punctuality required
- Ability to work safely and independently in a machine shop environment
- Previous oil and gas manufacturing experience is a plus but not required
