Job Description
HireCall is looking for dedicated, hard-working individuals with a passion for mechanics, problem-solving, and hands-on work as Medium/Large Mechanical Assembly Technicians. This position requires constructing, assembling and building heat exchanger units.
Shift: 5am - 5pm, Fri- Sun, weekend shift
Compensation: $24 per hour
Job Duties:
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, sketches and diagrams.
- Assembly of structural components and drive components (motors and props).
- Safely build Heat Exchangers using general shop tools..
- Understand the proper use of hardware fasteners.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and policies.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of prior assembly experience within industrial setting or similar.
- Strong mechanical skills and ability to read blueprints/schematics
- Ability to read precision tools: micrometers, calipers, dial indicators.
- Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical and hydraulic assemblies
- Forklift, overhead crane and/or rigging experience, required.
- Must be able to twist, bend, stoop, pull and lift 50+ pounds without accommodation.
- Must be able to work in non-climate-controlled environments.
