Overview
Job Description
As a Temp to perm Mechanical Assembler, you'll work on a variety of electronic and mechanical assemblies, performing repetitive yet highly important production tasks. Your work will directly support the creation of printed circuit boards, modules, chassis drawers, cable harnesses, and other essential subassemblies.
Your responsibilities will include:
Preparing components for assembly by cutting, stripping, tinning, and bending wires to required specifications.
Assembling and installing electrical and electronic components using blueprints, diagrams, wire lists, and established procedures.
Using hand tools such as wire strippers, crimpers, wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers to complete precise assembly tasks.
Operating automatic and semi-automatic assembly equipment when required.
Building assemblies according to Bills of Materials (BOM) and verifying document revisions within Agile.
Performing soldering or solder touch-ups for non-SMT components as needed.
Completing mechanical assembly tasks using standard tools, fasteners, and procedures.
Supporting production in multiple areas including kit preparation, transformer assembly, component selection, service operations, and AAG assembly.
Communicating any quality concerns or production issues to the group leader or supervisor.
Helping train and mentor other assemblers to strengthen team performance and efficiency.
