Job Title: Assembly TechnicianLocation: Grand Forks, NDCompensation: $20.50 - $24.50 per hour - paid weeklySchedule: 1st Shift | 6:00am-4:30pm | Monday-Thursday, 2nd Shift | 4:30pm-3:00am | Monday-Thursday Job Type: Temporary or Temp-to-hireAbout the OpportunityDoherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Assembly Technicians for a leading manufacturing company located in Grand Forks, ND. If you enjoy a fast-paced environment and want reliable hours with weekly pay, this job could be a great fit. Read below for more information!What You'll Do as an Assembly Technician:
  • Operate various types of tools
  • Read and interpret blueprints and drawings
  • Follow and understand standard work, training guides, and acceptance criteria to meet customer and QMS requirements
  • Follow and understand build boards and Kanban system requirements
  • Report inconsistencies and/or defects in material, product, or equipment
  • Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner so that you collaborate with customers, clients, co-workers, and management
  • Help the company meet its Quality and Safety objectives
What You Need to Bring to the Assembly Technician Role:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Basic computer knowledge (Windows, email, internet, etc.)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, math, reading, and spelling skills
  • Ability to carry 50 pounds, and push and/or pull up to 100 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
  • Ability to stoop, crouch, kneel, and bend with or without reasonable accommodations
  • Visual acuity is required to inspect work completed
