Job Description

Mechanical Assembly Technician

= Bedford, OH = $19.00-$23.00/hour (based on experience) =R 2nd Shift = Contract-to-Hire

What You'll Do

Assemble sheet metal components and mechanical equipment
Read and interpret blueprints and assembly drawings
Use hand and power tools, including drills and impact wrenches
Safely operate overhead cranes
Measure, mark, and cut materials using a tape measure
Inspect finished assemblies for quality and accuracy
Keep your work area clean while following safety guidelines

What We're Looking For

Previous mechanical assembly or manufacturing experience
Experience working with sheet metal
Ability to read blueprints and assembly drawings
Comfortable using hand and power tools
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Good communication skills
Ability to stand throughout the shift
High school diploma or GED preferred
Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check

Breaks

10-minute paid break
30-minute lunch
10-minute paid break

Overtime is available during the week based on production needs.
