Mechanical AssemblerPay:$21.00 per hourLocation:Oklahoma City, OK 73179Shift:Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PMJob Type:Temp-to-HireJob Order #:139159Position OverviewStand-By Personnel is seeking mechanically inclined Mechanical Assemblers to join a growing energy equipment operation in Oklahoma City. This is a hands-on position assembling generators and related equipment, including engines, radiators, electrical components, fuel systems, and oil systems.This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with the goal of transitioning successful associates into permanent positions. The ideal candidate has mechanical, automotive, diesel, industrial, or assembly experience and is comfortable working directly with engines, tools, wiring, and heavy equipment.Required Experience & Skills• Mechanical, automotive, diesel, industrial, assembly, or similar hands-on experience preferred• Experience working directly with engines strongly preferred• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn• Comfortable using hand tools and power tools• Ability to perform mechanical assembly according to instructions and specifications• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding work• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic• Entry-level candidates with a strong mechanical background may be consideredEssential Duties & Responsibilities• Assemble generator equipment according to blueprints, diagrams, and production requirements• Install and assemble engines, radiators, generators, fuel systems, and oil systems• Perform mechanical and electrical assembly tasks• Complete wiring and install electrical components• Bolt equipment and components securely onto trailers• Work with pre-fabricated components throughout the assembly process• Use sockets, impacts, screwdrivers, and other hand and power tools• Verify components are properly positioned, connected, and secured• Assist with equipment repairs and maintenance as needed• Identify and report assembly, equipment, or quality concerns• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area• Follow all company shop and safety procedures• Perform additional mechanical assembly duties as assignedElectrical & Technical ExperienceThe following experience is highly valuable for this position:• Electrical wiring and component installation• Reading blueprints, diagrams, or schematics• Engine installation and mechanical assembly• Generator equipment experience• Fuel and oil system assembly• Automotive or diesel repair• Industrial equipment assembly• Basic mechanical troubleshootingTools RequiredAssociates must have or be willing to obtain their own basic tools, including:• Socket set• Screwdrivers• Impact• Basic electrical toolsSpecialty tools will be provided as needed.Preferred Qualifications• Automotive or diesel mechanic experience• Engine assembly or repair experience• Generator assembly or maintenance experience• Electrical wiring experience• Mechanical equipment assembly experience• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams• Experience assembling equipment onto trailers or frames• Previous manufacturing or industrial shop experiencePhysical Requirements• Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift• Frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, lifting, carrying, and repetitive physical activity• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination required for mechanical and electrical assembly• Ability to safely operate hand and power tools while wearing required PPE• Comfortable performing physically demanding work around engines and industrial equipmentWork Environment• Industrial mechanical assembly and energy equipment operation• Hands-on work involving generators, engines, radiators, electrical components, fuel systems, and oil systems• Regular use of sockets, impacts, screwdrivers, electrical tools, and other shop equipment• Team-oriented environment focused on safety, quality, and accurate equipment assembly• Excellent setting for mechanically inclined candidates who enjoy building and working directly with equipmentWhy You'll Want This Opportunity• Starting pay of $21.00/hour• Stable Monday–Friday day-shift schedule• Long-term temp-to-hire opportunity• Opportunity to work directly with engines and generator equipment• Build both mechanical and electrical assembly experience• Gain experience with fuel systems, oil systems, radiators, wiring, and industrial equipment• Entry-level candidates with strong mechanical backgrounds may be considered• Excellent opportunity to grow into advanced assembly, maintenance, electrical, or mechanical positionsReady to Apply?Apply today for immediate consideration or call/text 405-367-3076 for more information.You can also apply in person at:Stand-By Personnel – Oklahoma City3625 S.
