Mechanical Assembly (Slot Cabinet)

GENERAL DUTIES

• Read, interpret, and follow technical documentation such as build guides, blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble mechanical components and fabricated products.
• Perform assembly tasks with experience and proficiency at most of the mechanical assembly and sub-assembly stations.
• Performs calibration tests on parts and mechanisms for tolerance levels and quality; identifies failed quality and out of tolerance units, and repairs as necessary.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Assisting in other areas on the production floor as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or GED
• No experience needed, will train.
• Ability in using tools (e.g. drills, wrenches, screwdrivers, etc.)
• Willing to perform repetitive tasks while standing for extended periods of time.
• Maintains excellent attendance.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check are required

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Must be able to stand, walk and lift for up to 8 hours daily.
• Vision abilities requires close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth
• Required to lift, push, pull, and/or carry up to 50 lbs. continually.
• May be required to stoop, bend, kneel, or crouch.
• Moderately loud noise levels in plant environment.
