Job Description

Join a highly capable engineering team supporting the development of innovative mechanical products from concept through manufacturing. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and controls professionals to turn practical design concepts into reliable, production-ready equipment. Objective
Develop and refine mechanical product solutions that meet performance, reliability, manufacturability, and customer requirements while supporting the full product development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
  • Create detailed 3D models and engineering layouts using Autodesk Inventor while maintaining organized design data through Autodesk Vault.
  • Prepare manufacturing drawings, assembly documentation, and detailed component specifications for production use.
  • Apply DFM/DFA principles to improve manufacturability, assembly efficiency, serviceability, and overall product performance.
  • Perform tolerance analysis and apply GD&T principles to establish functional relationships and dimensional requirements.
  • Develop and maintain BOMs, including complex assemblies, while supporting configuration control and engineering change activities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience designing mechanical products and equipment for industrial or manufacturing applications.
  • Working knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, weldments, machining, and welding processes.
  • Ability to collaborate with manufacturing teams to resolve production and fabrication challenges.
  • Familiarity with PLC and controls integration within mechanically driven equipment.
  • Strong understanding of engineering documentation, revision practices, and product lifecycle processes.
  • Ability to interpret technical requirements and translate them into practical engineering solutions.
  • Strong analytical, communication, troubleshooting, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
