Job Description
Pay Rate: $53.95 per hour Duration: 12 months Work Mode: Remote: 100% Summary: Mechanical design and analysis of Turbine Hot Gas Path and Rotor components for HDGT and Aeroderivatives engines. Collaborate with Cross Functional Engineering teams and Global Supply Chain teams. Ensure that hardware meets Product and Design Practice CTQs. Focus on component and sub-system optimizations, including Design for Cost, Design for Variation, and Design for Manufacturability. Responsibilities: Mechanical design and analysis of Heavy Duty and Aeroderivative gas turbine components. Evaluate hot gas path and rotor components. Execute design or evaluation of assigned hardware using sound engineering practices. Participate and present in technical reviews for all design tasks and outputs. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field from an accredited institution. 4 to 8 years of Engineering analysis experience. Preferred Skills: Experience designing and analyzing turbine blades, nozzles, and shrouds and/or rotors using ANSYS. Proficiency in CAD software, preferably NX. Basic understanding of Engineering principles. Effective oral and written communication skills. Ability to work in cross-functional teams.
