No C2C / Only W2 / No SponsorshipSeeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to support R&D in developing mechanical components for electrical distribution systems, including automatic transfer switches, switchgear, and power control equipment. Role involves 3D solid modeling in Creo/ProE, enhancing existing products, and designing new components to meet performance, reliability, and safety needs.Responsibilities:
- Design mechanical components and assemblies.
- Perform 3D modeling and tolerance analysis.
- Select materials, parts, and mechanical elements.
- Test and validate designs.
- Create layouts, documentation, and specifications; maintain technical files.
- Improve development procedures.
- Implement and verify design solutions.
- Adapt designs for localization needs.
- Coordinate with manufacturing, suppliers, and testing labs.
- Bachelor’s in mechanical engineering.
- 2+ years’ experience in mechanical design/R&D for electrical distribution products.
- Strong Creo/ProE 3D modeling skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong problem-solving and communication abilities; ability to work independently and in teams. Preferred: experience with Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS).
