Job Description

About the role: The customer is looking for a hands-on mechanical design engineer who can design complex semiconductor/industrial equipment, particularly sheet-metal and machined components, and take designs through manufacturing. Mechanical Design Engineer with 5 12 years of experience designing semiconductor or industrial automation equipment, strong SolidWorks/AutoCAD skills, hands-on sheet-metal and precision-machined component design, GD&T, tolerance stack-up, BOM/product structuring, DFX/DFMEA, and manufacturing experience.

Good experience in product structuring and BOM management
Knowledge /hands-onn experience in manufacturing.
Experience in Industrial Automation and Semiconductor Equipment design.
Knowledge of clean room compatible materials and clean room requirements
Knowledge of vacuum systems and gas systems (added advantage)
Knowledge of system cooling & water flow analysis (added advantage)
Experience in DFX & DFMEA
Very good written and verbal communication skills
Experience in concept generation
Experience in design and detailed drawing creation of Sheetmetal and machined components of complex & precise parts
Experience in Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
Experience in Tolerance Stack-Up Analysis
Ability to read schematics and P&ID drawings
Good hands-on experience in SolidWorks & AutoCAD
