Join a rapidly growing defense technology company in North Kingstown, RI as a Mechanical Design Engineer and help develop advanced EO/IR night vision camera systems for military ground and maritime platforms. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Mechanical Design Engineer position include:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum of 10 years of professional mechanical engineering experience
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Extensive experience with SolidWorks 3D CAD
Solid understanding of PDM and PLM systems for engineering documentation and change management workflow
Knowledge of drafting standards and GD&T (ANSI Y14.5)
Ability to perform failure analysis, design experiments, and testing for design and product validation
Create detailed mechanical designs for electro-mechanical systems, assemblies, and components, while supporting prototyping, testing, documentation, and production assembly efforts

Salary: $130,000 - $170,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
