Job Details:We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. This is a permanent position that offers the opportunity to work with a diverse team of professionals committed to designing and manufacturing cutting-edge products. The successful candidate will have the chance to make a significant impact on our operations by optimizing our manufacturing processes and designing new products. This role is ideal for an individual with a strong background in mechanical design engineering who is looking to take the next step in their career.

Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop new products and systems from concept to final implementation, ensuring they meet customer requirements and company standards.
2. Create and modify detailed drawings using CAD software, including 3D modeling.
3. Conduct comprehensive product testing to identify potential issues and ensure the highest level of quality and reliability.
4. Collaborate with the production team to optimize manufacturing processes, reduce costs, and improve overall efficiency.
5. Analyze and interpret specifications, sketches, drawings, ideas, and descriptions to determine design factors such as size, shape, and arrangement of parts.
6. Use engineering principles to solve complex manufacturing and design problems.
7. Prepare and present design reviews to the team, management, and clients.
8. Stay current with the latest design trends, technology, and methodologies in mechanical design engineering.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Mechanical Design Engineer role, preferably in the Manufacturing industry.
3. Proficiency in CAD software and 3D modeling.
4. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, product design, and quality control.
5. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
6. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.
7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
8. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and maintain high-quality standards.
9. Professional Engineering (PE) certification is a plus.
