Mechanical Design EngineerLocation: Lincolnshire, ILPay: $35–40/hr (Contract-to-Hire)
We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a small, collaborative engineering team. This role offers the chance to take projects from concept through completion, with a mix of hands-on design, client interaction, and light project management. You’ll have exposure to all levels of the organization in a flat, family-style environment where your work makes a direct impact.
Responsibilities:
- Perform hands-on mechanical design using Inventor (SolidWorks experience also considered)
- Work directly with clients on project requirements
- Support some project management activities
- Collaborate in a flat, team-oriented structure with exposure to all levels
Qualifications:
- Strong background in machine/automation design
- Inventor or SolidWorks experience required
- Degree preferred, but not required
- 5+ years of experience
