Job Description
-Modify and refine 3D models using mechanical design software-Generate detailed 2D drawings for customers and manufacturing/shop use-Perform thermal design calculations and analysis (preferred - Chemical Engineering background a plus)-Manage and oversee the quotation department, including:--Reviewing project specifications--Assisting in cost estimation and pricing--Coordinating with engineering and production teams-Collaborate with sales, engineering, and production teams to ensure project accuracy-Support continuous improvement initiatives within design and quoting processes
-Bachelor"s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering (preferred)-Experience manipulating 3D CAD models and generating 2D manufacturing drawings-Proficiency with SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor-Knowledge of HTRI software is a plus-Strong understanding of mechanical drafting standards and tolerancing-Experience with thermal system design and heat transfer calculations (preferred)-Experience managing or supporting a quotation/cost estimation process is a plus
