Job Description

Summary: Location: Greenville, SC Duration: 12 Months Openings: 2 remote, 1 onsite Working Hours: 40 hours per week, aligned to 1st shift Eastern Time Zone Responsibilities: Execute 2D & 3D gas turbine rotor finite element analyses in Ansys Perform post-processing exercises such as LCF crack initiation, LCF crack propagation, summarize bolted joint behavior, strength evaluations, etc. Pull CAD models from PLM Work with CAD models in Siemens NX Summarize and document analytical results Support automation of typical tasks with Python as needed Support defect evaluation through analysis Present in routine project status meetings Collaborate effectively in a team environment Requirements: Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent 6 years of relevant work experience Required Skills: 3D CAD Modeling ANSYS Finite Element Analysis Fracture Mechanics Analysis Low Cycle Fatigue Microsoft Office Rotor Design Siemens NX Strong communication skills
