Qualifications and responsibilities for this Mechanical Designer position include:

Associate’s degree (two-year college or technical school); entry-level candidates encouraged to apply
Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor or SolidWorks and Microsoft Office
Create detailed and assembly drawings using CAD software and standard drafting techniques
Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T), welding practices and symbols, and hydraulic circuits and symbols
Select and design components to meet functional, cost, and delivery requirements; generate parts lists for procurement and manufacturing
Collaborate with engineers to interpret design concepts and develop detailed drawings
Maintain parts databases and drawing libraries; review peer work for accuracy
Ability to travel to Canada as needed, obtain/maintain a valid passport and driver’s license, and work overtime when required

Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
