Job Description
We are seeking to employ 2 motivated Mechanical Engineers to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of dairy farm operations, designing, maintaining, and optimizing mechanical equipment used in dairy farming, such as tractors, milking machines, and feeding systems. In addition to his technical skills, The ideal candidate would be a dedicated and driven professional who is capable of workingcollaboratively with cross-functional teams. They have a proven track record of implementing innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure the overall success of agricultural projects. in each of the above areas, including:
• Evaluate and implement energy-efficient technologies for dairy farm operations, such as solar panels, energy-efficient lighting, and advanced heating and cooling systems.
• Conduct energy audits to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving measures.
• Develop and implement climate control systems to regulate temperature, humidity, and ventilation in barns, ensuring optimal conditions for dairy cattle.
• Utilize technology to monitor and manage waste disposal, minimizing environmental impact and ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Designs, develops, builds and tests mechanical devices, including tools, spare parts and agricultural implements.
• Conduct regular inspectionsof dairy farm machinery such as milking machines, tractors, feeding systems, and ventilation systems.
• Develop and implement predictive and preventive programs to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance of equipment.
• Evaluate and upgrade existing machinery to incorporate new technologies and improve efficiency.
• Implement precision agriculture techniques to optimize resource use, including precision feeding systems and automated feeding programs.
• Utilize GPS technology for precision planting, fertilizing, and harvesting to maximize crop yield and quality.
• Train farm personnel on the proper use of new technologies and equipment.
• Develop training programs to ensure that farm staff are well-versed in the latest advancements in dairy farming technology.
