Job Description

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will serve as a technical leader and trusted partner to some of the world's largest technology companies and mission-critical clients. You'll lead the delivery of complex, high-impact projects-guiding mechanical design from concept through execution while ensuring technical excellence, consistency, and performance.

In this role, you will help lead project teams, provide direction across disciplines, and take ownership of the most complex design challenges-performing advanced calculations, overseeing technical documentation, and ensuring quality across all deliverables. Your expertise will be critical in driving solutions for large-scale infrastructure projects, including data centers and central utility systems.

Beyond project delivery, you will play a key role in mentoring and developing engineers across the team, elevating technical capability, and influencing best practices. You'll collaborate closely with clients, internal leaders, and cross-functional teams to deliver innovative, reliable solutions that support high-demand environments.

Qualifications

You are passionate about:

  • Working collaboratively with others.
  • Having ownership in the work you do.
  • Using your talents to positively affect communities.

You bring to the team:

  • Strong communication skills and ability to lead client and team interactions
  • Proven experience leading complex projects and engineering teams
  • Ability to operate as both a strategic leader and hands-on technical expert
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
  • 7+ years of mechanical engineering experience
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
  • Data Center experience preferred
  • Central utility or large-scale infrastructure experience (preferred)
  • Revit experience
  • Strong track record of mentoring engineers and elevating team performance
  • Expertise in troubleshooting complex issues and driving effective solutions

Additional Information

As an Olsson employee, you will:
