  • Ensure all designs adhere to applicable industry codes and standards (ASME, API, ANSI, NFPA, OSHA, etc.).
  • Promote a safety-first mindset and incorporate safe design principles into every project.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical degree (Design diploma or Associate's acceptable for Designer-level roles).
  • 5–30+ years of experience in mechanical engineering or design for heavy industrial projects (EPC preferred).
  • Proficiency in 3D modeling and design tools such as AutoCAD, Plant 3D, CADWorx, SmartPlant 3D, or SolidWorks.
  • Experience developing equipment layouts, piping supports, and mechanical installation details.
  • Strong understanding of rotating and static equipment, material selection, and fabrication methods.
  • Knowledge of industry codes and standards (ASME Section VIII, API 610/650, ANSI, NFPA).
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with multi-discipline teams.
