Job Purpose:

To support the Strategic Business Unit and the Manufacturing Cell and apply coursework to real-world applications as a Manufacturing Engineer Intern. Position involves providing ideas, inputs and analysis as a project team member.

What You Will Do at Graco

  • Provide general production support for machining and/or assembly areas by participating in hands-on troubleshooting issues and providing technical assistance
  • Assist in evaluating the need for machine and/or assembly area upgrades
  • Participate in capital equipment justification as needed
  • Review and analyze standards and operational layouts to suggest improvements
  • Assist in the selection and implementation of tooling and fixtures for machining and/or assembly jobs
  • Participate in cost of quality improvements, root cause analysis and corrective action
  • React to changing priorities in a timely manner
  • Report man-hour estimates

Mechanical Engineer Intern

Position Summary: Join our dynamic team at Graco as a Mechanical Engineering Intern, where you will work alongside our Mechanical Engineers to design, support, analyze and develop solutions to challenging problems with fluid handling equipment. You will build skills in machine design, failure analysis, strength of materials, fluid mechanics, and problem solving

What You Will Do at Graco

Electrical Engineer Intern

Job Purpose

Join Graco as an Electrical Engineering Intern! Build a versatile skillset by designing both hardware and software. You will work alongside our electrical engineers to write embedded firmware and control algorithms, design circuit boards, work with batteries and battery management, design user interfaces, iOS and Android apps. This intern position also involves providing ideas, input, and analysis as a project team member.

  • Running tests to optimize performance

To support the Strategic Business Unit and the Manufacturing Cell and apply coursework to real-world applications as a Supplier Quality Engineer Intern. Position involves providing ideas, inputs and analysis as an active team member.

What You Will Do at Graco

  • Work with suppliers to improve quality performance, implement process controls and quality plans.
  • Review conconformances created for accuracy and trending opportunities. Drive strong root cause and corrective action with assistance from the Manufacturing and Supplier Quality Engineers.
  • Serves as a stop gate for Supplier Corrective Action Requests; gather any additional information needed for Supplier Quality Engineers to initiated and drive with a supplier.
  • Drive initial discussions with suppliers for warranty concerns
  • Validate both Graco and Supplier completion of part qualifications per requirements.
  • Pull and monitor aging MRB (Material Review Board) reports
  • Provide training and assistance to suppliers and purchasing personnel on Graco supplier quality requirements and processes.

The base pay range for this position is listed below, exclusive of fringe benefits or other compensation. If you are hired, your final base hourly rate will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, competencies, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors, we will also consider internal equity of our current employees. Please keep in mind that the range provided is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at or near the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth.
