This position is fully onsite at the project in Boise, ID.QualificationsRequired5+ years of mechanical construction experience, including HVAC systems, hydronic and process piping, plumbing, and the installation, rigging, and setting of mechanical equipment.High school diploma or GED required.Able to work fully onsite in Boise, ID, ascend and descend ladders, scaffolds, and stairs, work in confined spaces and in proximity to loud equipment, access all areas and levels of an active construction site, pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screen, and work in the United States without sponsorship.PreferredExtensive experience with mechanical installations on large industrial and hi-tech fabrication projects.Data center, semiconductor fab, or other mission-critical project experience at program scale.Experience supervising multiple mechanical subcontractors and craft employees on fast-tracked scope across multiple large buildings.Working knowledge of central plant equipment, chilled and hot water distribution, air handling systems, pump and fan curves, pipe welding and joining methods, pressure testing, flushing, and cleaning procedures.Familiarity with mechanical codes and standards such as IMC, IPC, ASME B31.1/B31.3, NFPA, and ASHRAE requirements.Experience with rigging plans, equipment setting, and coordination of crane and heavy lift activities.Experience working in and around cleanroom environments.Education background in materials and methods of mechanical construction.Strong understanding of construction means and methods, sequencing, and field practices.Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point and Teams), and have a strong understanding of working within a computer network.Experience with project management software such as Prolog, Procore, E-Builder, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, and Primavera Project Planner (P6).Experience with design software such as AutoCAD, Revit and Navisworks.Training in design and construction document reading, design specifications, survey theory and techniques.Experience in organizing technical data in a neat and accurate method. Familiar with Construction Specifications Institutes (CSI) MasterFormat.Highly developed visual observation and interpretation skills.Ability to work well and maintain a cooperative attitude in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.Excellent time-management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work while frequently interrupted by phone calls and questions on work in progress.Excellent written and oral communication skills with an ability to develop strong interpersonal relationships.Ability to work closely with variety of trade and craft people in a field work situation. Patience and professionalism are essential.Must be a strong team player with the ability to collaborate with various personnel within and across departments and at all levels of leadership.Work schedule must be flexible to allow extended hours or off-shift work to accommodate changing construction schedule and sequences.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate day-to-day activities with other superintendents, mechanical subcontractors, and other discipline subcontractors.Supervise multiple subcontractors and craft employees.Maintain and adjust the project schedule daily.Manage RFIs (requests for information) and submittal materials for review with the client and architect.Manage and abide by all safety protocols, and provide a safe work environment for the project team.Oversee equipment setting, rigging, and heavy lift activities, including review of lift plans and coordination of laydown and staging areas.Verify piping and equipment installations through pressure testing, flushing, cleaning, and system fill activities.Provide resolution to design and constructability issues.Respond to client requests and issues and develop resolutions to problems using technical expertise.Interpret and implement proper installations in compliance with all local authority permitting codes and site specifications.Provide supporting information regarding field conditions and scope for cost estimates.Facilitate contractor activity, ensuring performance by all contractual agreements.Assist with managing project staffing.Work closely with clients, architects, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors.Support system startup and commissioning activities for mechanical scopes, including readiness reviews, TAB coordination, and turnover documentation.Provide status, risk, and mitigation updates to CBC leadership and the client.Pay and Benefits$160,000-$200,000Fully covered Employee+Fam BCBS PPO health insurance
