Shape the future of semiconductor technology with QNITY! We're looking for a Mechanical Manufacturing Engineer to join our CMP (Chemical Mechanical Planarization) team. In this role, you'll be the go-to expert for process stability and capability, driving improvements that keep our operations world-class.
What You'll Do
- Own process health for assigned mechanical equipment modules using Statistically Process Control, FMEA, and root cause analysis.
- Monitor operations, troubleshoot issues, and restore stability to meet customer expectations.
- Lead variation reduction and yield improvement initiatives, collaborating globally with sites in Taiwan and Korea.
- Support 24/7 operations and provide on-call technical expertise.
- Drive quality investigations, resolve customer complaints, and implement improvements.
- Champion safety standards and process hazard management.
- Partner with technology teams to scale up new products and optimize equipment performance.
- Coach operators and mechanics on best practices for process capability.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
- 3+ years industry experience (excluding internships).
- Strong problem-solving, multitasking, and communication skills.
- Hands-on leadership with ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
- Experience with CNC machines and G code.
Preferred
- Statistical analysis tools (JMP, Minitab), SAP knowledge.
- Familiarity with CMP technologies or semiconductor industry.
