Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and talented Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering Intern to join our dynamic team for Summer 2026. Please note we are taking applications at this point and will respond near the March 2026 timeframe.
This internship provides a unique opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in the field of mechanical and manufacturing engineering. The selected intern will work closely with our seasoned engineers and contribute to real-world projects, gaining valuable insights into the intricacies of product development and manufacturing processes.
EDUCATION
- Enrollment in a mechanical or mechanical engineering degree producing program. Sophomore level preferred but we will make exceptions for the right individual.
ENGINEERING RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Prepare plans with detailed drawings that include project specifications and cost estimates.
- Design and execute engineering experiments to create workable solutions.
- Develop engineering calculations, diagrams and technical reports.
- Complete required technical and regulatory documents.
ENGINEERING QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Demonstrated proficiency in written and verbal communication, including creating and delivering presentations
- Basic skills in critical software applications, such as ERP, Solidworks and ASME Y14.5 Drawing Standards
- Proficiency in creating parts, such as, stamping, machining, molding, 3D printing and casting.
- Knowledge in data and problem analysis, creative problem solving and design thinking
- Up-to-date knowledge and technical skills required to design and operate our core products and services
