We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical/Plumbing Superintendent to join our dynamic construction team. This is an unparalleled opportunity for a seasoned professional to apply their expertise in mechanical construction, HVAC, heating, cooling, boiler, plumbing construction, MEP, and construction superintendent duties. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role. You will be responsible for overseeing all mechanical and plumbing aspects of our construction projects, from planning to implementation and maintenance. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a strong knowledge of mechanical and plumbing systems.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage all mechanical and plumbing aspects of construction projects.
2. Develop and implement project work plans and make revisions as necessary.
3. Coordinate and supervise the work of all mechanical/plumbing subcontractors, ensuring that all work is carried out safely and to the highest standard.
4. Conduct regular site inspections and ensure compliance with all relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards.
5. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects on project planning, development, and execution.
6. Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and plumbing problems to prevent project delays.
7. Develop and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
8. Provide regular progress reports to management and stakeholders.
9. Ensure all mechanical and plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance meet the requirements of the appropriate codes.
10. Train and mentor junior staff members.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Mechanical/Plumbing Superintendent in the construction industry.
2. Extensive knowledge of mechanical construction, HVAC, heating, cooling, boiler, plumbing construction, MEP, and superintendent duties.
3. Proven experience overseeing and managing large-scale construction projects.
4. Strong knowledge of construction codes, standards, and regulations.
5. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
6. Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
9. Proficiency in construction project management software.
10. A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
11. Certifications in HVAC, plumbing, or related fields would be an advantage.
