Description

This exciting Mechanical Product Design Engineer opportunity offers flexibility in California or Tennessee with the chance to make a direct impact on durable fitness equipment used in boutique studios. This growing fitness equipment manufacturer is upgrading facilities, improving processes, and looking for a hands-on designer who loves creating, refining, and developing long-lasting products in a flexible, creative engineering environment.

Qualifications and responsibilities for this Mechanical Product Design Engineer position include:

Strong mechanical engineering knowledge with hands-on product design and development experience.
Proficiency with SolidWorks and strong 3D design capabilities.
Experience revising existing products and supporting new product development.
Interest in designing durable, high-quality products for fitness equipment manufacturing.
Ability to collaborate on manufacturable designs that support facility upgrades and evolving production needs.
Background in industrial processing, automotive, durable product manufacturing, fitness equipment, or similar industries is preferred.
Open to junior, mid-level, or senior candidates, including degreed or non-degreed professionals with strong capability and work ethic.
Self-motivated personality with the ability to thrive in a flexible, autonomous, hands-on engineering environment.

Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.

Benefits: This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, PTO of 1 week after the first year, and the company is exploring implementation of a 401(k).
