Job Description

Mechanical Systems Mechanic

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Maintain, repair, and install mechanical systems including pumps, compressors, motors, valves, and air distribution equipmentRespond to facility service calls, diagnose issues, and perform repairs using tools and testing instrumentsPerform preventive maintenance and inspections on mechanical and support systems (HVAC, piping, regulators, controls)Interpret system data and schematics to ensure safe, efficient operation and respond to emergency situations as needed

equired Skills & Experience:

Technical school diploma (or equivalent) with 3+ years of mechanical systems experience in industrial, healthcare, or similar environmentsStrong ability to read blueprints and schematics, with knowledge of applicable local, state, and national codesHands-on experience with mechanical systems, HVAC/R, electrical, plumbing, and fire alarm systemsAbility to troubleshoot complex equipment and work independently or within a team

Preferred Skills & Experience:

Knowledge of boiler systems and key components (burner, heat exchanger, controls, pumps, safety devices)Experience working in large-scale or mission-critical facilities

Compensation: $32/hour range
